Where is fabric shipped from?
Everything is shipped via Canada Post or UPS from Sydney, NS, Canada within 5 days of receiving order. The only exception being during sales when high volumes will delay shipping.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes! Please contact for a quote if outside North America.
Is local pick-up available?
Sure is! Just send an email prior to ordering.
5 Oceans Fabric is not responsible for lost or delayed packages. We will do our best to help track down your package but cannot refund for anything officially lost by the postal service unless a claim is investigated and approved.
Damages caused Canada Post or UPS are not our responsibility. We will do everything to secure your package properly before leaving our hands. Canada post and UPS only provide $100 of insurance on all packages. If you wish to purchase more shipping insurance, please leave a note on your purchase and you will be invoiced for it. Please keep in mind that we are not responsible for packages once they are shipped. If your package is lost, and a claim through the postal service is approved, we can only refund you the maximum of $100 if you did not purchase extra insurance.
No, all sales are final. In the event that fabric is shorter than what was ordered (prior to washing/drying), an error was made or there are flaws which were not disclosed, please contact by email within 4 days of receiving fabric for a resolution.
Digitally printed custom fabric may have flaws close to the selvage, tiny speckles or white dots throughout the fabric. We will not issue refunds or discounts for this. We will try our best to find any flaws while we are cutting, but some are very small and minor and easily missed. If you can cover the flaw with a dime, a refund is not offered. It is very unlikely that you will receive fabric with any flaws outside the norm, but we are human and may miss one from time to time.
